3.18 The Murder of One - What Did You Think?

What was everyone's reactions to this week's episode, "The Murder of One"? How about to that surprising new twist, where the death of an Original results in the death of all vampires originating from them through their bloodline? I will admit, I'm personally happy about this new twist, because I love the Originals and I hope to see them around a lot longer, haha.

i agree i want the originals to stick around for a while. especially klaus!!!

that was an interesting twist that i think nobody saw coming. even stefan was taking back when sage and that other guy just dropped dead on the floor.

and so much for bonnie's magic trick, cuz the evil alaric hid one of the stakes that could kill all vampires.

I agree that I definitely did not see that twist coming either! And it's personally one of my favorites, mostly because this means the Originals aren't going to be gone yet.

I really felt for Bonnie in this episode...being forced into performing that spell and then later breaking down outside by the car. And what with her mom leaving and everything, it would be so hard.

Hmm...yeah, so I guess Alaric's evil, vampire-hating side is still around. And now that we know killing an Original kills the entire bloodline, it's even more dangerous for the stake to be missing. Also, with the whole bloodline thing, I'm curious to see which Original bloodline Stefan and Damon originate from...that should be interesting to find out!

To me TVD doesn't change its stripes. All of the adventures just pull them farther apart.
