Carrie Diaries, from Fake Empire and Warner Bros TV, chronicles Carrie Bradshaw’s coming of age in the 1980s when she asks her first questions about love, sex, friendship and family while exploring the worlds of high school and Manhattan. Amy Harris (Gossip Girl) wrote the script and is executive producing with Bushnell as well as Fake Empire’s Josh Schwartz, Stephanie Savage and Len Goldstein. Chloe Bridges cast in CW's 'Carrie Diaries'

"Camp Rock 2" star Chloe Bridges is joining the cast as Carrie's high school nemesis, Donna Ladonna, described as popular and confident, though boasting a bit more than meets the eye. In a show revolving around relationships (romantic and otherwise), it will be interesting to see what Donna Ladonna will bring to the show as not a friend, or even a frenemy, but as an enemy.

For her part, Chloe has been popping up all over the small screen in the past few months. The 20-year-old has guest starred on episodes of "90210" and "Suburgatory," and will likely be a regular fixture on The CW once the '80s-set teen series debuts. Chloe joins previously cast stars AnnaSophia Robb, who will play our titular heroine, and Austin Butler, who will play Carrie's love interest Sebastian Kydd. We can’t wait to see who else will fill the remaining spaces around Carrie, and what they will tell us about her!

i thought it was ok. kinda reminded me of a younger version of gossip girl with carrie (annasophia robb) narrating the show and writing in her journal at the end
