(Born April 8, 1960 in Mount Kisco, New
York) is an American actor who shot to fame
during the 1980s as Bo Duke in the American
television series The Dukes of Hazzard.
He is also a country music singer.
He is
recently known to television audiences as
Jonathan Kent, the adoptive father of Clark
Kent on the hit show Smallville.
Schneider
is a born-again Christian. In 1982, he
co-founded, with Marie Osmond, the
Children's Miracle Network to help suffering
children.
