Full Version of Mayer/Swift Song

I’m so excited! The full version of John Mayer and Taylor Swift’s duet has been released! The song is titled “Half of My Heart” and John had some interesting things to say about Taylor as well as the song:
“She is on the record,” he told MTV News, adding that the collaboration, which appeared online Friday, originally came together after he tweeted that he wanted to work with the singer. “You know what — it’s like the tweet version of the secret, no better way to put it out into the universe than to tweet it.”
Swift also openly expressed a desire to work with Mayer in interviews, but the details of how it actually came to be are a bit fuzzy to Mayer. “Well, you know, tweeting it is more just sort of the exposition of my idea,” he explained. “But then it’s not like she reads the tweet and goes, ‘I’m in,’ although she may have. I don’t remember.”
The idea for the song came to Mayer in a dream. “I woke up with the song in my head called ‘Half Of My Heart,’ ” he recalled. “And the idea is that it’s this real sort of updated — not that it needs to be updated — sort of Tom Petty, Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Nicks thing.”
On the track, Mayer sings lead with Swift lending back-up vocals. “I thought, ‘Well, if this is going to be my love letter to that style of music, who’s going to be the Stevie Nicks in this equation?’ ” he recalled. “And I thought, ‘This Taylor Swift girl is going to be around for a long time.’
Taylor Talks About Her Third Album

Taylor had some interesting things to say about her untitled third album, check it out:
“I actually have [started work on a new album]. I’m constantly writing about what I go through as it happens to me,” she told MTV News. “I try not to get too backlogged and have to go back. I record all the time, so I’ve got a lot of songs.”
Although she wouldn’t divulge too much about what (and who) she’s writing about for the album, she did say that it will certainly be a reflection of the very big events of the last couple of years. “When I put out an album I’d like to think that when people listen to that album it’s like a diary of what I’ve been through in the last two years,” she said. “So it’s a really fun way to express how I feel and what I’m going through.”
“I always try and bring in new influences, and you know I’ve been writing [many of] these new songs for the record by myself so I can kind of take it anywhere,” she explained. “And it’s really fun to play with different inspirational things, but you never know … when I write songs, sometimes it surprises me how they sound different from my other stuff. Hopefully I just continue to grow and evolve and change, but not freak people out.”

Fearless Platinum Edition CD Tracks + DVD

Last week I showed you guys the new cover released by Big Machine Records for Taylor’s re-release of her sophomore album “Fearless” which will be entitled “Platinum Edition”. The tracks for her CD & DVD featurette have been announced! The DVD ones, however, are not final but here is an idea of what “Platinum Edition” will look like:

Taylor’s deluxe edition of Fearless is set to be released on October 27th and Big Machine records released the CD cover for fans to see:
The 19-year-old country and pop sensation is re-releasing her top-selling CD “Fearless” Oct. 27 with six new songs. She will also include a DVD of photos, tour footage and her videos, including her comedic clip with T-Pain from the CMT Awards earlier this year. The CD/DVD of “Fearless Platinum Edition” will be released Oct. 27.
Update on Deluxe Edition of ‘Fearless’

Instead of releasing two new songs, Taylor will be re-releasing Fearless with 6 new songs. I’m sure everyone is looking forward to hearing these new songs:

New Single + Fearless Deluxe Edition

Taylor’s song “Fifteen” is set to be her next single! Taylor is also re-releasing her sophomore CD Fearless, a deluxe edition which will contain new songs:
Taylor swift’s hit album “Fearless will be re-released on October 27th in a form of deluxe edition, which will contain a CD/DVD combo and it will contain two new songs, and one of them will be the first single and it’s rumored to be a track called “Sparks Fly”.
Taylor Is Writing A Cookery Book

Taylor has revealed that she’s currently writing a cookery book:
The country babe has been learning how to make her mum’s best home-cooked meals, and has decided to pen the recipes in order to pass down the methods of making the family’s favorite feasts.
“I’m writing a cookery book with all of my family’s recipes!” Taylor told Sugar magazine. “My mum’s teaching me her brisket later on today. I’m going to throw a dinner party for all my friends and teach them too!”
